Overview

The development of a modern community centre meant that social interaction and wellbeing was encouraged and provided those with a sense of belonging in the community.

The works helped create a welcoming and inclusive environment in which older adults can participate in a variety of engaging activities.

The scope of works included a thoughtfully designed extension to the existing buildings, installation of new drainage systems, construction of an accessible ramp, improvements to the car park, and the application of new cladding to revitalise tired façades.

Challenges such as delayed material deliveries occurred. We remained responsive and adapted our schedule to ensure successful delivery.

Outcome

Comprehensive refurbishment provided a transformation of the community centre.

A key part of this initiative was the extension of the premises to accommodate ‘Circus Mash’, a dedicated circus training school designed to nurture artistic expression and performance skills.

This space is now a modern and welcoming environment, equipped with enhanced resources and facilities to support a wide range of activities.
