With 24% of our workforce on earn-and-learn programmes, we understand the value of apprenticeships and the impact they have—not just for individuals but for the future of our industry. From site management to bid writing, carpentry to electrical engineering, quantity surveying to procurement, our apprentices are gaining hands-on experience while developing essential skills that will set them up for long-term success.
Tailored Career Paths & Added Value
One of the unique aspects of our apprenticeship programme is how two apprentices can be on the same course but take completely different career paths. We tailor their experience, ensuring they receive exposure to various roles within the business, allowing them to shape their own future based on their strengths and interests.
However, our commitment to apprentices goes beyond their formal training. We believe in developing well-rounded individuals, which is why we offer an enrichment programme covering essential life skills. Our sessions focus on:
- Healthy mindset – Setting personal and professional goals

- Healthy relationships – Recognising and understanding boundaries
- Mental health awareness – Identifying signs of stress and where to find support
- First aid training – Essential skills for life, both inside and outside of work
Alongside this, we encourage our apprentices to get involved in the wider business, attending skills fairs, networking events, and industry presentations to help build confidence and make valuable connections.
