BSN Group Showcases Progress on Birmingham Children’s Hospital Transformation
BSN Group was recently joined at the entrance of Birmingham Children’s Hospital by Andrew Rodgers, Head of Infrastructure at Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Charity, alongside Hadleigh Marsh, Project Manager, and Lee Crowder, Contracts Manager, for an insightful discussion on the transformative work currently underway.
The conversation provided a valuable opportunity to explore the scope of the project, the complexities involved in delivering improvements within a live healthcare environment, and the high expectations associated with such a significant redevelopment.
Supported by the charity’s ‘It Starts Here’ initiative, the project is set to deliver meaningful, lasting change for children, families, and staff. At its core, the redevelopment is focused on creating a more welcoming, functional, and supportive environment for all who pass through the hospital.
Reflecting on the impact of the scheme, Andrew Rodgers highlighted the importance of the development, describing it as a space that will “create a central hub” and offer visitors “something special to walk into.” His comments underline the profound difference this project will make to the overall hospital experience.
The collaboration between project partners demonstrates the shared commitment to delivering a high-quality space that not only meets clinical demands but also enhances wellbeing and comfort for patients and their loved ones.
