Birmingham Children’s Hospital Emergency Department Named Site of the Quarter for HSEQ Performance

We are pleased to announce that Birmingham Children’s Hospital – Emergency Department has been awarded Site of the Quarter (Q2) for outstanding HSEQ performance.

The recognition reflects the commitment and professionalism demonstrated by Lee Crowder, James Bebbington, Hamza Mohammed, James Byrne and the wider project team as they continue to drive the scheme towards Practical Completion while maintaining consistently high standards across the site.

Operating within a live and sensitive healthcare environment presents unique challenges, requiring careful coordination with hospital staff, patients, visitors and ongoing clinical operations. Throughout the project’s final stages, the team has remained focused on delivering safe, high-quality work, ensuring that standards of safety, housekeeping and quality have been upheld at all times.

Their achievement builds on the recent progress and successes showcased across the project and highlights the team's dedication to delivering excellence, even under the pressures associated with the final phase of construction.

Commenting on the achievement, Libby James said:

“This is a great example of controlled delivery under pressure; balancing programme, communication, site discipline and respect for the environment we are working in. Well done to everyone involved at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, a brilliant effort and a strong example of what good looks like.”

Congratulations to everyone involved in this well-deserved recognition and for setting a strong benchmark for HSEQ performance across our projects.
