Exciting milestone for Queens Hospital, Burton and University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust! 🏥
Following the completion of the extension and external improvements, we’ve officially handed over the new Emergency Department entrance, after finalising the internal upgrades.
The project was compromised of:
✔️ Upgraded staff and patient areas for improved comfort and functionality.
✔️ New steel-work installations to support advanced AHU units.
✔️ Improved fire alarm systems installed for enhanced safety.
✔️ Modern triage zones introduced, to streamline patient flow.
✔️ Enhanced staff facilities designed to boost efficiency, elevating patient care.
This upgrade provides Queen's Hospital, Burton with an advanced ED environment, ensuring a better experience for both patients and staff.
We’re thrilled that the Emergency Department entrance is now open and live for patients—a vast step forward in providing exceptional healthcare to the community!
