BSN Group Continues to Support Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital through Dragon Boat Race Sponsorship

This year’s Dragon Boat Race for Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust was an unforgettable two-day event, filled with excitement, camaraderie, and a shared mission to make a difference. BSN Group was proud to co-sponsor this fantastic event, which has already raised an astounding £245,477.91. All proceeds go directly to supporting the brave children and their families who rely on the outstanding care provided by Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

For BSN Group, supporting the hospital is more than just a charitable act—it is a cause that is close to our hearts. Many of our staff members have personal connections to the hospital, whether through family, friends, or personal experiences. The dedication and resilience of the children, their families, and the hospital’s healthcare professionals inspire us daily, and our involvement in the Dragon Boat Race reflects our commitment to making a positive impact in the local community.

At BSN Group, we believe in giving back to the communities in which we work, and our partnership with Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust has been ongoing for several years. Each year, our team looks forward to participating in the Dragon Boat Race, not only because it is a fun and exciting event, but also because it gives us the chance to support a charity that is so important to us. Whether it is through fundraising, volunteering, or simply showing up to cheer on the teams, our staff are deeply committed to this cause.

The Dragon Boat Race is a unique event that brings together businesses, individuals, and organisations from across the region. It fosters a sense of community and teamwork, and for our staff, it is a day they truly enjoy. Rowing alongside other teams, raising money, and connecting with colleagues and friends in a positive and spirited environment creates lasting memories. It is more than just a race; it’s an opportunity to make a real difference for families going through incredibly challenging times.

The funds raised during this year’s event will help support critical services, provide comfort to patients and their families, and ensure that the Trust can continue offering the world-class care it is known for.

We are incredibly proud of the effort put in by everyone who participated in or supported the event. A special thanks goes to the charity team at Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital, whose tireless work and dedication in organising such a successful event is truly commendable. Their passion and commitment to the hospital’s mission inspire us all, and we are grateful to be part of such a worthy cause.
